Historically, the piano has been instrumental in shaping and transforming American music throughout the last century and will continue to do so as time progresses.
Musicians mastered the eighty-eight black & white keys on the instrument to become a voice and showcase their dexterity and creative talents through composition and improvisation.
The resulting music has been categorized as Ragtime, Jazz, Gospel, Boogie & Blues with their respective traditions and styles continued through these current disciples of the instrument and their masters.
